The Super FishThis is my favorite piece of artwork that I have made this quarter because it was very simple and very appealing to the eye. The fish is from photos for class and the glass shattering is from textures.com. I cut the fish out of his background using the fuzzy select tool and then I added him to the glass shattering picture and lined up the pictures so it looks like the fish is breaking through the glass.

Social Issues
I have chosen to do gay rights as my social issue. Many people hear about gay rights on the news and about how unfair things are but they just listen and go "awe" then flip the channel or page and don't pay much attention to it. Gay rights is turning into a bigger and bigger deal as time progresses. Many of the issues that we had during the civil rights movement are now problems but not for race it's because of sexuality or preference. Instead of people taking a step forward people are taking a step backward and we are repeating what happened not that long ago. Gay rights is an issue that doesn't allow people who are different to have the same rights as any other human being, their unalienable rights are being taken away from them and denied the right to take action against it.

Favorite Logo
This interesting logo has been around for a while and is still iconic to this day. The Nintendo GameCube is one of Nintendo's most memorable and interesting logos they have had. The little cube is surrounded by an even bigger cube first of all. Then in the blue space that makes up the larger cube the letter "G" can be seen and then in the negative space inside the cube you can see the letter "C".

Intelligent Scissors vs. Fuzzy Selection Tool
I believe that the fuzzy selection tool is easier than the intelligent scissors because it gets a nicer edge to the picture you are copying and it allows for an easier edit in the end.
